FABLE OF A FANTASIST

I am a hoper, i am a dreamer.
i picture illusions of everyone being happier,
like a pauper i always want more..
more happiness, more laughter ; the greedy human nature.

Gained a smile wherever i went,
wiping tears is what i aim,
spreading smiles till i last,
for i have known a gloomy past.

once i thought i can fight destiny,
to win back that was mine,
now i know the naked truth,
i can never change fates's design.

i am weak, i am a loner,
lost many crusades
but i gave up never, because
still i aspire to be a winner.

i have known pain,
seen the ruthless face of life,
but when i think of miseries of world,
my woes seem inane,

Life is never just to anyone
but giving up was never an option,
i chose the path of an optimist
and always stay hopeful in life's twists
